DR. JENNIFER WALDEN – A TEXAS PIONEER FOR MEDICINE

Austin native Jennifer Walden received her Bachelor of Arts in Biology from the University of Texas at Austin and went on to graduate as Salutatorian from the University of Texas Medical Branch with her medical doctorate. She also completed studies at the Plastic Surgery Associates in Miami where she received extensive training in face lift surgery and anatomy. Upon completion of her residency and training, she relocated to New York to pursue a specialty in aesthetic plastic surgery at the Manhattan Eye, Ear, and Throat Hospital. There she became well versed in modern techniques for cosmetic surgery of the face, breast, and body.

After moving back to Austin, she established her own practice, offering procedures in cosmetic plastic surgery of the fact, eyelid lifts, rhino plastics, breast reduction and enlargement, laser procedures to alter or remove scars, hair restoration for women and men, and non-invasive treatments to enhance skin care. Shes uses Vectra 3-D imaging technology to visualize a patient’s look before surgery and offers the Venus Legacy system for non-surgical body contouring. Dr. Walden has been in practice for thirteen years and is a member of the American society for Aesthetic Plastic Surgery. In addition to her practice, Dr. Walden is a volunteer surgeon with the group Austin Smiles. She has donated her skills to repairing cleft lips and palates in children.
